I am 16 years old. I am not your typical girl. One thing that makes me different is I LOVE to hunt and fish. Ever since I was really little I have loved going on outings with my family. I enjoy being in the outdoors with family and friends as much as possible. I have hunted my whole life with my family, but my mom is the one who got me started in the great outdoors. My greatest memory was last hunting season I was hunting with my mom and boyfriend and I shot my first big game animal a cow elk, what a great experience. I also love to hunt with my handsome boy friend Eric, we both love to be in the outdoors together, as well as be with friends in the field. This year I am going to try bird hunting with Eric, as my guide. It should be a lot of fun. I would like to see more girls out there enjoying this great sport, which would be really cool…

Eric Deneault "Eagle Eye Eric"

I am 16 years old and I love to BIRD HUNT, mostly waterfowl. I have been hunting since I was five years old. My first memory I remember was going out with my dad to duck and goose hunt up at Nine Pipes. I enjoy spending time in the field with friends and family. My hunting partner who I enjoy going on adventures into the woods with, is also my best friend Tyler Ferris. I love to hunt for big game as well but I have not been able to shoot any big game animal yet I got a new rifle which hope to take my first big game animal with for sure, this year.. I love to hunt with my beautiful girlfriend. She is amazing and is fun to be with and makes for a great hunting partner. I can’t wait to introduce her to the great sport of duck hunting this year should be a great season. When I am not playing sports I love being in the outdoors with family and friends.

I thank my dad for getting me into hunting and taking me on so many fun trips. This year will be an exciting and fun filled year hopefully with many memories that we can share with you. This year is going to be a blast I’m stoked. Good luck to you and safe hunting…

Telson Cook-McNair

I'm 16 years old and I’m Modoc Indian out of South Western Oregon. I have been hunting since I was 12, and so far in my hunting career I have not been able to harvest an antlered big game animal. Through the years I have come to respect and understand the great outdoors which I enjoy. I believe in conservation and managing herds, over trophy hunting. Not only do I enjoy big game hunting, but upland bird and waterfowl hunting as well. I do hope to take my first buck this year with my uncle Art. My most cherished memories are of, those shared with friends and family in the back country of north western Montana.

One of my dreams is to open and operate an Outfitting Business with my Best Friend/Cousin Tyler Ferris. I believe that we are well on our way to establishing a solid foundation in the hunting/ outfitting business.

In closing I’d like to give a shout out to Pete Denault and Todd Ferris who are basically the frosting on the “cake” we call are team. With out them we probably wouldn’t be where we are now. Thanks guys.

Lane Fortner

Im 12 years old and this will be my first year of hunting. I like hanging with my friend and hunting partner Tyler Ferris, we do a lot of shooting both with our bows and rifles. I am a youth member in the five valleys archery club of Montana I’ve entered in a lot of shoots this year and have been placing in top 10 at each shoot. This year my dad and I drew antelope tags we will have a lot of fun with that. Tyler and I have many hunting and fishing adventures planned we do a lot together he helps me out and shows me the ropes of this great sport. One day I would like to hunt mule deer in Alberta, Canada there are monster deer over there and I would love to shoot one in velvet because it would be a perfect mount. I would like to start bow hunting next year, I will be ready I got a new bow and have been practicing a lot. I would also like to shoot a elk in the Missouri River Breaks cause of there are huge elk out there. My best friend Trevor frandsen got the tag for there this year I think he is very lucky kid to get that tag. I am 16 years old. My passion is to rifle hunt. I have been hunting since I was 6 years old, my dad use to take my with him on all his hunts I cherished every moment. The first animal I ever killed was when we were antelope hunting. I had spotted an antelope doe, both my dad and my brother set me up and told me to take my time, I shot and she dropped. I was hooked from then on out. The thrill of shooting my first animal was great I loved it. That year I also harvested a nice 4 by 4 mule deer buck. I also shot the biggest elk anyone in my family has ever shot my second year hunting, a 320 6 by 6.

Two years ago my best friend Tyler Ferris introduced me to duck hunting after a few trips out I was addicted between school, sports, and the ladies we try to get out every once in a while. I love spending time with family and friends in the field hunting and fishing. The best part about hunting to me is just being out away from civilization like normal day to day life.

I have harvested quite a few animals so far in my hunting career and hope to harvest many more. My best friend Tyler and I every year have a competition to see who can harvest the most big game animals in a season, of course I have won every year that we have done the competition “4 years in a row”. This year I only drew my antelope tag, but my uncle and uncle’s brother in-law both drew the famed Missouri River Breaks bull tags, so I think they will be pretty happy. I am 15 years old. I like to hunt with my dad and brother, I only hunt with my rifle. My favorite animals to hunt is going to be the antelope, unless I draw a special permit for mule deer I do not even waste my time.
